The rep had to ask a supervisor, but since the prices are comparable and the FC3 was in stock and the Yamaha headphones were not, it worked out better for them too so they OK'd it.Īlso, I was able to put the order through online with the salesman's help so was able to get 5% back through, which would be about $50 from this item. Since I already have headphones I asked about swaps and SA allowed me to swap it out with a new Yamaha FC3 pedal which allows for half pedaling (P155 comes with FC4 - no half pedal, I'll use that for soft/una corda). You have to call in to get the price match.Īlso, MF had a 'free gift' on their P155's = Yamaha RH5MA headphones. However, I actually purchased from Sam Ash Direct (SA) ( because they matched the MF deal. (This seems to be a promo that is run every now and then based on reading past posts here as others have reported the same discount.)

In that thread, members have posted information about their digital piano purchases. Obviously, I'm not very smart with this stuff. The Digital "price paid" reports thread has been around since October 2006. If none of this makes very much sense, sorry. How could I record the sounds that the keyboard offers and obtain sounds from Garageband/Logic, too? Or does the latter not even work? MIDI: In, Out, Thru (hardware switchable to copy of MIDI Out) For example, combing a Harpsichord and something else? I'm kind of clueless, but I think this is possible.Īlso, how could my keyboard get recorded onto a Macbook Pro? It's got: How do split (where you can have two keyboard sounds going on at once) and how do you edit/manipulate sounds. I just want to be able to edit and split the keyboard.

So, I was wondering if anyone knows a thing or two about this keyboard/controller? I've got the manual, but it's kind of ridiculous. I know that there's a lot more to this machine. I've stuck to the basic sounds programmed within the keyboard. I've had one for about a year, but all I've used are the installed sounds.
